Anara Binh Tien Golf Club sits on a beautiful crescent-shaped beach, surrounded by low hills and dotted with clusters of rocky outcrops.
Nara Binh Tien Golf Club Description:
The views from the course are spectacular, with steep, tree-lined hills to the west and the sea to the east. The dual scenery is unique to this part of Vietnam. The layout is a dunes course, but patches of pines and palms show up throughout the holes.
Each hole has various teeing options and pin positions, creating several playing routes. Wind direction also factors into the paying strategy, making careful club selection a must. Platinum paspalum grass used throughout makes for excellent hitting surfaces.
The golf course design includes transitions from mountains to the sea with different landscapes adding interest to the golf experience. The flatter front nine holes cross restored dunes with abundant water hazards and palm trees. The back nine have more elevation change. The holes play to natural forests and rock outcrops before coming back down to the beach and clubhouse.
The opening hole makes a great start through reconstructed dunes and gives golfers a taste of what’s to come. Holes three to five are all around the lake and are an experience all to themselves. The ninth back in the dunes is a standout of the front nine.
The back nine is more natural. Original hardwood trees and rock outcrops incorporate into the playing strategy and framing of each hole. Holes twelve to eighteen play up the hillside and incorporate ocean views from numerous points. Teeing off from the highest elevation affords the thirteenth hole the best views from anywhere on the Bien Tien golf course. The Vietnam coastline is visible, including some small offshore islands in the distance, making the teeing grounds a favorite Instagram moment. A solid and dramatic finish on the eighteenth directly in front of the clubhouse awaits golfers at Nara.
